This July I am pleased to announce that Crafty Cupid is up and running! Let me just re cap for those confused…..I started writing a blog each month, it had a topic, usually my craft projects and what I had been up to. These were then saved onto a computer and stored, until my site was fully constructed. So as from July I will be doing it properly with more than one blog each month!


For a few weeks now I’ve been doing an Art’s Award each Saturday. A free course for young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. Its funny, I was emailed about the course just because somebody thought I might like it, so I feel very lucky that I’m part of this! I’m learning how to lead workshops, whether it be music, drama or art related. As my teacher Jane is a Drama teacher, that is our focus and we’ve learnt warm up games, stage combat, script work, as well as meeting a musician and artist. As the summer holidays are approaching for school kids, I’m helping out at the Summer School and have started my portfolio! Also for the award, you have to choose an area, I’ve picked Art; and create a challenge for yourself while showing the steps you took to get there. And I am painting! With the subject art and music -together. I never really do any painting, just drawing- apart from splashing a bit of color to a visual journal page. But I really want to known how to do painting, on canvas, with lots of colors and variation. I hope that when I do my paintings I can either exhibit them or sell them on to a friendly somebody.


So if my blogs seem a bit empty then you know I’m in my craft room, brainstorming.
